"Over the past two years, any extra lunch money was set aside to help improve the kitchen at the school. The upgraded kitchen has now been completed, making it easier and safer to improve the health of these children."
In 2012 we continued the project of serving a hot, nutritious lunch to the poorest children attending the Tan Lien Primary School in Lang Son. The families of these children could not afford to send them to school with food. In fact, it was an effort for these children just to come to school.
Being hungry was part of the long school day. Since the project started, we have served over 40,000 hot lunches to these growing children who can now focus on their studies rather than their hunger.
Good nutrition helps them learn, and the portion of love that goes into every meal doesn’t hurt either.Type your paragraph here.
